Computer-Aided/Integrated
Facilities Management
In
the late 80's and early 90's we often used the term
computer-aided
facilities management (CAFM). It was
simply an off-shoot of CAD
and referred to adding
data to CAD drawings. We've gone beyond
hat
scope with computer-integrated facilities management
(CIFM).
Information that may need to be
incorporated into your facilities program
may
already exist through HR, telecom, or real
estate. That information
can be pulled from
those pre-existing programs, ensuring the accuracy
of the data without having to create it from
scratch.
Cahill
and Company has been implementing
computer-integrated
facilities management programs
since 1985. Our experience involves
facilities over
1 million square feet to facilities of a few
thousand.
We can offer implementation,
customization, design, and support
services for an
in-house system or we can manage a complete web
implementation and provide web access to graphics
and reports.
We
are pleased to announce our new role as an
authorized software
vendor and implementation
specialist for Autodesk's newest product,
FMDesktop.
